1:00 - 1:50 p.m. Topic: Mitigating Trade Risks and Accelerating Cash Flow for U.S. Exporters

The global marketplace can offer tremendous opportunities for sales growth, but not without risk. In this presentation, John Duffin, Wells Fargo Trade Services Relationship Manager, will examine how U.S. exporters can minimize the risks associated with selling products internationally, and accelerate payments from overseas customers.

John Duffin is a Trade Services Relationship Manager in the Wells Fargo Philadelphia Global Bank. In this capacity John works with both public and private companies engaged in cross-border export and import trade. He consults with clients in the areas of accounts receivable risk management and best practices concerning expediting cash relating to export trade sales.  John joined First Union Bank – now Wells Fargo Bank- in 1996 following trade management positions at Midlantic Bank in Southern New Jersey and Mellon Bank in Philadelphia.

2:00 - 2:50 p.m. Topic: Afordable Care Act (ACA) - Health Care Reform 101

This presentation reviews the Affordable Health Care Act in basic terms.

Speaker: Steven Rumpp, Wells Fargo Insurance

Steve brings over 17 years of experience in the employee benefits field as both a consultant and underwriter with organizations like Prudential, Aon/Hewitt and Marsh/Mercer. Steve joined Wells Fargo over 5 years ago and became the Washington DC area Practice Leader in 2012. Steve will be responsible to managing the overall client satisfaction and delivery of employee benefits consulting services.

Steve’s areas of expertise include:

       Assisting clients develop multi-year strategic benefit plans

       Advising clients of compliance updates including Health Care Reform

       Strategically evaluating client readiness for wellness programs

       Facilitating employee engagement surveys and focus groups

       Designing flexible benefit programs, including benefit plan design and pricing, for the whole spectrum of health & welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, long term disability and paid time off programs

       Initial and renewal pricing for medical and dental plans, including cost trend projections and analysis

       Medical and dental pricing for fully insured, self insured and shared risk arrangements

       Management of RFP process for all lines of health and welfare coverage, including carrier negotiations and implementation.

       Employee contribution strategies and modeling

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

Sessions generally will be cancelled only for inclement weather. If the U.S. Government closes due to severe weather, the session will be cancelled.  Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of the cancellation by email. In the event of advance payments, participants may request funds be applied to the next upcoming meeting provided 48 hours of notification are given.
