“Treasury Perspectives Survey: Key Results & Insights”

Treasury Perspectives, a global survey from Strategic Treasurer and TD Bank, covers areas of great importance to treasurers including Treasury Operations & Benchmarks and Regulatory Impact & Response. It explores key questions that address practices that are changing in treasury operations and how the regulatory environment continues to impact treasury and the overall organization. This session will highlight strategic viewpoints from the recent survey and examine the impacts on practices and actions of treasurers.

Objectives:

·        Understand actions and impacts of various regulations on treasury

·        Learn company practices and initiatives critical to treasury operations

·        Gauge company sentiment for the economic outlook and intent to invest

Speakers:  Neil D. McHugh, CTP, CPCP, Treasury Management Services, TD Bank and                         Jasmin Tarrah, Treasury Management Officer, TD Bank

Neil manages the payables segment for TD Bank's Treasury Management Services business. In this dynamic position, Neil serves as a thought leader helping to define TD's strategy for B2B payment solutions such as commercial cards, ePayables and Integrated Payables. In addition, he is responsible for fostering collaboration with industry participants and ultimately elevating TD's brand within this essential market segment. Prior to this role, Neil led the treasury management sales team in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. region and helped to develop TD's commercial card program.

During his 15 year career in the treasury management and payments industry, Neil has obtained diverse experience across multiple industries and acquired a deep understanding of the procure-to-pay, accounts payables and working capital disciplines. He has leveraged this expertise to contribute to numerous industry periodicals and is a regular presenter at regional and national conferences. McHugh is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University.


“The ACH Today and Tomorrow”

Speaker:  Kimberly W. Rector, AAP, Senior Director of Education, MACHA – The Mid-Atlantic Payments Association

Kimberly is the Senior Director of Education for the Mid-Atlantic Payments Association (MACHA).  She is responsible for providing assistance, education and training regarding the ACH Network and payment systems to MACHA’s members.  Kimberly has over 33 plus years’ experience in the financial services industry at both commercial banks as well as credit unions, with a concentration in ACH operations and services.

In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities as Senior Director of Education, Kimberly has represented MACHA and its members on several NACHA sponsored Rules Work Groups, responsible for the on-going maintenance and development of new ACH Rules. She was a member of NACHA’s ACH Quality Task Force, the AAP Blue Ribbon Panel, and the Member Rules Review Panel and is currently a member of NACHA’s Government Relations Advisory Group. Kimberly is a Permanent Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

Sessions generally will be cancelled only for inclement weather. If the U.S. Government closes due to severe weather, the session will be cancelled. Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of the cancellation by email. In the event of advance payments, participants may request funds be applied to the next upcoming meeting provided 48 hours of notification are given.

Complaints should be directed to the Education Committee at education@gwafp.org; if resolution cannot be achieved at this level, the complaint will be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
