1:00 - 1:50 p.m. Topic: ”ACH Network Update and a Bunch of Other Stuff”
This presentation will provide an update of rules and regulations for domestic and international ACH transactions as well as new rules for 2014 & 2015. Kimberly will also discuss the roadmap for the ACH Network.

- Discover how new rules and regulations affect both consumer and corporate electronic payments
- Learn the changes in responsibilities of initiation of ACH for both consumer and corporate

Speaker: Kimberly W. Rector, AAP, Senior Director of Education for MACHA
Kimberly is the Senior Director of Education for MACHA. She is responsible for providing assistance, education, and training regarding the ACH Network and related payment systems to MACHA's members. Kimberly has twenty-seven years experience in the financial services industry at both commercial banks as well as credit unions, with a concentration in ACH operations and services. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities as Senior Director of Education, Kimberly also represents MACHA and its members on several NACHA sponsored Work Groups, responsible for the on-going maintenance and development of new ACH Rules. Kimberly is a graduate of "The Payments Institute" and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
2:00 - 2:50 p.m. Topic: “AFP’s Short Term Investment Guide and Review the Results of the AFP’s Liquidity Survey”
AFP’s Director of Treasury Services Tom Hunt will review selected results from the 2013 AFP Liquidity Survey, highlight Money Market Fund Changes, discuss banking/deposits, and finish up with Investment Policy Review in light of the previous discussed areas and look forward to what may be next.
Learning Objectives:
· Learn changes in Money Market Funds.
· Discuss various investment policies related to Money Market Fund changes and banking deposits.
· Learn results of 2013 AFP Liquidity Survey.
Speaker: Tom Hunt, Director of Treasury Services, Association for Financial Professionals (AFP)
Mr. Hunt has over 15 years of direct Treasury experience working across different industries including various roles at Medtronic, Inc., Fairview Health Systems and most recently at 3M Company. At 3M Company, he oversaw the global banking strategy, redesigned and implemented a new domestic cash management structure and led acquisition activities for the treasury department.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
Sessions generally will be cancelled only for inclement weather. If the U.S. Government closes due to severe weather, the session will be cancelled. Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of the cancellation by email. In the event of advance payments, participants may request funds be applied to the next upcoming meeting provided 48 hours of notification are given.
Complaints should be directed to the Education Committee at education@gwafp.org; if resolution cannot be achieved at this level, the complaint will be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
